Joolies co-founder, David Kohl is the managing partner of La Quinta Date Growers, a family owned date farm located in Coachella, California. The family is one of the largest producers of organic Medjool dates in the United States.
The farm was one of the first date producers to become organic. The Kohl operations have always been at the forefront of environmental awareness, global best practices and efficient farming technology by working with international experts to improve all their farming techniques.
These innovations include commissioning the most modern and safest equipment. Working with the equipment manufactures and air quality management district, they customized equipment in order to meet the highest environmental standards while creating a safer workplace for their employees. The farm operates drip irrigation and effective water management systems so every drop of water can be fully utilized.

Greg Wilsey, is the Co-Founder of Joolies and the Founder & Owner of Venice Brands, a Los-Angeles based consumer brands platform focused on incubating, investing in, and building successful consumer brands across the food, beverage, fitness and pet verticals.
In addition to his role at Joolies and Venice Brands, Greg is a partner at consumer private equity firm, Monogram Capital, working across all aspects of investments, from sourcing and diligence to deal structuring and operations. He joined Monogram as its third partner and member of the investment committee and has since been instrumental in making 12 additional investments and developing the firm as an active presence in the food & beverage space.
Prior to his entrepreneurial endeavors, Greg served on the executive board for POM Wonderful and the Wonderful Company.
Greg is a graduate of Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School, both with distinction, as well as the Calloway School of Business at Wake Forest where he graduated first in his class. He is also a member of the California State Bar.
